who is
rob Leland?
I was a professional session drummer for 25 years and officially retired from the music business in 2003. When I did, I became a man without an identity and I encountered a level of resistance in others (and myself) that I had never experienced before.
For my entire life, I had been known as an entertainer and now I was asking people to take me seriously in my new career. I wanted to matter as much as I did when I was playing music and I wanted to love it as much as the drums. I longed for financial freedom so I sold myself out to work with people who didn't understand or care for my vision. I coveted the reach of notable business professionals and began bending my ethics for something I wasn't even sure I wanted.
To put it simply, I had a God sized hole in my heart, and I wasn't happy with anything or anyone and my frustrations were pouring out of me. If I'm being fully transparent, I lacked the super powers of empathy and discernment.
One day, during a presentation for a prospect, the dots connected and I suddenly realized what I had been missing in my approach. I wasn't listening enough and when I was, I wasn't caring enough.
So, I did what a empathetic person does. I slowed down. I started asking clients questions that gave me subtle clues into who they were versus what they wanted to buy. I let them tell me their needs through their experiences. And it worked.
I started RSI years ago because I believed in the power of connecting in a deep and spiritual way. Today, I run RSI with the same intent, focusing on teaching others these same powerful and life altering principles.
Let's do this. Together.
I am in the revival business.
I work with amazing people who understand they are already powerful and successful, yet desire a more fulfilling life.
I am an expert at helping my clients unleash their inner superpower: a highly capable yet typically inactive ability to discern. Working together with my client, we create a process of tiny incremental changes that teach them what they already know, but in greater and thoughtful detail.
I have spent years engaging in entrepreneurial opportunities, traveling, conceiving ideas, marketing new brands, bootstrapping businesses, training teams, buying concepts, and being coached by leaders all over the globe. If I'm 100% authentic, much of that time was spent struggling.
When I was young, I kept to myself. I was deeply motivated by the process of creating art. I have to admit I was missing a number of social skills, which led to me becoming distant with friends and family, finding and believing in failure, battling with the constant need to overcome, moving from location to location and school to school, being told I wasn't smart enough, kind enough, fast enough, gracious enough, and sometimes not selfish enough.
Professionally, I have been a top 1% earner and performer for Farmers Financial Solutions and Yamaha International. At Farmers, I was named Salesperson of the Year in 2005 and 2006. I have earned and carried securities Licenses with FINRA, earning my Series 65, 6, and 63. I have also carried Insurance licenses in Disability, Life, Property, Casualty, and a Washington state real estate license.
I learned from the greatest teachers ever, as well as my own failures.
When I discovered it didn't matter what anyone thought and went back to what I really knew about myself, everything changed and I can help you get there as well.
I'm a high performer.
I don't disengage.
I am tenacious.
I offer a number of different packages, as well as 1 day intensives for top down C-Suite Coaching, business alignment strategies, and sales training for individuals and staff. I offer online and in-person coaching as well as public speaking opportunities.
I look forward to working with you and thank you for your time!
